Never have I been to Italy, so to do this set I needed to research the area. Specifically I read about Tuscany. At first, the plan was to represent the look and feel of the region with one painting but that seemed impossible. The coast, the mountains, the agriculture in those rolling hills, the architecture, and the historical artifacts were all calling out for their place on the wall. It was determined that a better plan was to go smaller and do a cluster. Then I could represent that gem like sea, the stone and clay homes, the landscapes, and a cityscape. In the end, there would be two seascapes and all paintings would be rendered in impressionistic style. Here they are.
