I love when a painting or a sculpture or a story reaches that turning point where it stands on it’s own and where the glory that it was conceived with begins to be plain to behold! It’s the transition to viability, the birth. Before that, it’s all promise.
Photography won’t do this painting it’s due, but that’s no fault of the camera. For better or worse, paintings have contours and play with the light. Particularly when sparkles are part of the imagery as here.
I wanted a painting of Putting in Pony Tails and this is the result : )
Leah is the model.
