I do poke fun at politicians, many of whom are depraved, even though I realize it’s probably the 90% that make the rest look bad. I’ve failed to adopt partisan loyalty and instead view these characters as individuals even though so much of what many of them do is simply their adaptation or subservience to robotic formula which for their purposes “works”.

Many of them remind me of the description of a people by the mother of a famous artist long ago, falling back on the truth only when lies don’t get them what they want.
