The object was to bicycle around and about the lake. We took a few side trails and there were no mishaps or troubles. It was glorious!

The water is low and the shore is soft and mucky and it tried to rob me of my shoe. Leah traversed a log I decide was too risky for me since it was moistened by recent rains. There were many frogs near this place with the deep waters.

Leah is an unstoppable force but I pretty much kept up and even passed her a couple of times thanks to my discovery that the gear selector on one sprocket works just opposite the one. A few times, Leah got off the bike to explore this place. You can see fall just beginning to show in the trees.

We rode back into civilization just as darkness fell. On the way to the car we got ice cream at the little store. Huckleberry!
