Life is about setting things in order.

So often the new issue is a confusing matter that causes upheaval with just the right amounts of frustration. Part of me says, “Nooooo! No. I don’t want this.”

After all the trouble and all the worry, finally the mysteries are resolved and then it gets fixed and then I feel like, “what? that was it? How was that so big of a deal? Huh.”

Well it was a big deal. And the next one will probably be a big deal too. In the end, it’s just another thing I know how to deal with.

Examples in recent history:

Rebuilt the suspension in a Lotus. Fear not, after this photo I replaced the steering arm and backing plate/upright bolts with longer ones and plumbed in brake lines. Probably reversed the upper A-Arm bolts also.

Removed tub and installed a new heavy cast iron one

Gained back the garden from weeds and blackberries

repaired the lawn mower
