Recounting the fun they had with their Austin Healey 3000, they told me also about some of the limits of the car. The wife said she could drive it up until late in her pregnancy but had to stop because the fixed position steering wheel wouldn’t leave her belly alone.

So I came up with a cartoon to memorialize that nuance of the car.

And now, the Lotus Europa version. Series 1 and 2 did not have an adjustable steering column and I suspect they both are less roomy than the Austin Healey.
