The calendars that I made last year are now obsolete. New ones are in place.
Because sales of the calendars create revenue that could keep me alive for several days if you lumped it all together, I wanted to improve sales.
The Austin Healey cartoon calendar was a complete bust. It was quite nice, but as it turns out the national club provides a free calendar with the annual dues and the local club already got the cartoons for free in their newsletter. I’ve just sent off my final cartoon for that. The club president has served his time and a new bunch is taking over. It was fun, but I have moved on to other things. Not a single calendar sold. So there’s a rare collectable you may one day wish you’d bought and had me sign!
Last year a couple dozen Lotus people bought my cartoon calendars for the Europa. This year I’ve sold twelve of them.
I did two things to address this: lowered the price and created another calendar, also with the lower price. The new calendar is available here:

With three vehicles to work with I had to be inventive. First one is a late series 1 with a modified body and drive train. It has fender flares, side fuel caps, air intakes in the wing, a Ford motor, and a spider frame. Probably has a twin link setup also. The owner races it from time to time and putters around the hills for pleasure.
The second one is my type 54. I have taken many photos of it, like one does with their first child. So the trick was to keep those from overpowering the calendar. It has the advantage of presenting very well owing to shiny paint.
Near the end is my type 65 Federal S2 chassis with the body off. It’s a beautiful thing. We start with the S1B.
The chassis sketch didn’t make the cut. I’ll use it eventually though. Probably in an art calendar.
This fall picture didn’t make the calendar either. It didn’t upload right. I may add it in to a revise calendar because I like it.
The Mee-yor picture didn’t make the calendar either.
