There are many considerations when altering something so basic as what motor powers your vehicle. In this case there will be substantially more power and the computerized engine management means no more carburetor. So you can drive from the coast and over the mountains and get the same performance at any point along the way. I’ve heard of fuel economy in the 40’s. And the motor will not be harmed by that idiotic alcohol gas.
The old motor mount will not do the job. It was custom designed just for the Renault lump (as the English say) So these laser cut bits were designed to properly replace them. They take into account the position of the motor and the Y-arms of the chassis. I believe that some cutting and welding will be necessary to fit the motor in that space also. Here are the mounts unpainted, and unused.
I don’t see any rubber, so I suspect there is more to this. Some assembly required.
