Within days of proclaiming in my heart that one subject I would not paint is “selfies” I had a composition designed and begun on a wood panel.
That wasn’t deliberate.
When I think of selfies, I think of duck face and someone strangely articulated before a bathroom mirror. It’s not impressive.
So when this idea came up I forgot my aversion and went right to work.
Kayla (standing) wants to stay with the white dress while Larissa asked for a fairy dress, whatever that is. I think that means an uneven hemline, tulle, and the colors of spring.
