One of my daughters was adept at producing glorious, beautiful selfies. They looked classic, friendly, relaxed, and disarmingly nice. No duck face.
Most of what I see of the rest of the selfie world does not inspire though. As a result, I had promised myself not to use selfie themed art. Then I saw Larissa and Kayla and knew I had to make this picture.
As I was applying the ultra fine holographic glitter to the dresses I wondered if I might be over doing that. Truth is, I wanted to use even more.
The next day I took the painting out in the sun and saw it in it’s glory and was very pleased. This is one of the really good paintings.
In the photo there appears to be flecks of sand in the dresses, but that’s not as it looks in person. It’s that glitter and looks great.
