In 2008 I drew the concept sketch for “Fish Story” using a local college woman named Lindsay. She and I did two photo shoots but since I was an inexperienced director, not much came of them despite that she had the looks and enthusiasm. I liked the way she portrayed the part, but I was using a camera I didn’t much understand and I ended up with lens distortion. The layout method that I used discouraged correction. Now I have a better approach to that. Meanwhile Meagean posed for the painted version.
The story line is that she caught a large fish and is exaggerating it in her description to another angler but her description is an under exaggeration rather than the usual ‘one that got away’ fanciful story. She has the proof. So if her under exaggeration is too hard to believe, then when the actual catch is examined it should make quite a splash!
