Like I did with the renewal of my old Lotus car, at first I shunned the web site overhaul project but finally I have dived in. With the car I took it one system at a time and within that system, one organ at a time.
I am not a programmer and certainly don’t qualify as a bit-head. Computers are an essential tool though, so rather than hand the site off to an expert that I then am beholden to, I’ve gotten a hold of tools that give me the ability to put a site together that us mine to work.
The past few days I’ve been reconditioning content. I’ve rephotographed some art work. Other images I cleaned up, resized, and edited to reclaim a truer representation of the original art.
The design is largely set, but it’s going to depend on how fast I get up to speed on the way these tools work. Not my cup of tea, but I know what it is to be captive to the whims of an obnoxious web master. It’s like having a bad land lord. I don’t want to go there.
Today the sun came out and that is the key ingredient to getting good pictures of the art. So I rephotographed some of the older pieces that never got a decent picture taken.
