The library showing is a couple of weeks away and the reason it’s a big deal is that I haven’t a history of showing my art publicly. It’s new.

Winnowing down the list of paintings to only six has been done. Now I need to finish this last picture then tidy up the rest with proper hanging systems and signature blocks and in the case of this one, a frame.

The panel was made especially for a frame I already possess, but that one puts the dimensions outside the acceptable maximum for the show. So I’ve designed one and will build to suit and it will solve the problem.

I want dragon flies and at least one hummingbird is in the works. Frogs are painted in. There are refinements to do.
