All the Empty Space

Nothing has to be a mystery forever since after all, everything is known to someone somewhere and all of it intimately. There is no mystery except in a relation of an individual to that thing. So I’ve long been confident that all things can be made known and all things can remain hidden. Knowledge is a possession that can be shared as well as guarded. This gives me comfort, since the sequence of imparting knowledge is – this is my belief – a regulated matter under a stewardship of trust.

Meanwhile, I’m mortal,  subject to the limitations of a mortal sphere. So there are many mysteries. With them comes the freedom to seek truth and sort that from the baloney that saturates Earth.

One of the things that puzzled me was the extent of the universe, which I am to understand is endless. I tried to picture the structure of such a thing.

Is it a populated expanse that ever expands into an undeveloped void like as the surf roils in from the sea across sand? How is ownership claimed when new creations are put together? Where do post mortal souls go as more and more are brought to maturity and  settled in eternal communities?

I sensed again that eternity goes forward and backward endlessly. It also goes inward and outward endlessly. If an instrument could actuate the relativity of space to space, meaning physical construct to the physical constructs that lend it its properties, I’m certain that one would discover that the detail never abates or lessens upon (for lack of a better word) magnification. Meaning that if you magnified that particle of sand you would find it composed of properly joined sub structures. Magnify those, and eventually you find that instead of finally landing at an end point of simplicity you would enter an atomic world which in itself would be universes of  living stars and worlds in orbit and life. You would continue the path of magnification to a point where you would realize that it does not end. The detail would never end in a static primitive set of building blocks beyond which no further magnification could be possible. In that respect, space is never ending from molecular to sub molecular forever.

Likewise, if you were to create a means to pan your own world so that it could be seen as it relates to it’s universe, it all would be seen in relation to it’s components as tiny in the scheme of space in it’s  entirety. Eventually you would find it to be a part of a much larger thing, all orderly and full of it’s own function as a part of that thing. The expansion into the upper layers of these eternal constructs will not end because it continues forever with each universe a structural micro component of another which fills that role for another beyond it and on and on endlessly.

If this is fact, and I expect that it is, then in the most literal way, there is no end to space. Or, more accurately, there is provision for space to never end.

Nothing of this magnitude of perfection evolves and it doesn’t manage itself.
