I Kept at it.

I decided to press a new projector into service that I bought three years ago to replace an aged broken one, which I ended up fixing and continuing to use. So the replacement became the backup.

They’re both fully functional but the newer one turns out to be quite nice. So I thought I’d give it a try. I couldn’t connect it to the tablet because there was no cable on the tablet that would work with it. I couldn’t connect it to the main computer because it would take a long cable. Couldn’t connect it to the little vista computer because that decided to give up the ghost just for this event.

I got a camera to connect to it, but the projector couldn’t see half the photos and didn’t like others despite all the fancy renovations I did to the photos and their file names. It was all in vain.

So I bought a network module for the projector. The setup gave me all sorts of trouble until I’d nearly written it off. Then I went simple on the settings.

I downloaded an app from the projector manufacturer and loaded it on the tablet and the tablet was able to connect to the projector using wifi. Now the images on the tablet will display on the projector and that is excellent progress!

And Nickle was seen to. He’d apparently been in a dust up with one of those encroachers who keep going into my back yard as if they own it. He’ll be fine.

Let it be said, “In life there were numerous obstacles and there were challenges but I kept at it!” Maybe that’s the formula for winning the ultimate prize of life.
