The last whole day that I was with my son and his family involved the sport of catch and release. This catfish struck hard and the the hook really should have been nipped and pulled out but that wasn’t an option. I felt so sorry for the poor fish that I doubt I’ll ever engage in the sport, but the hook came out and he lived to try another day.

In Denver someone thought it right to steal my Galaxy tablet, a hand written book, and all my drawing supplies. So this is my tablet now and I think of Denver airport as DEN(of thieves). Cameras are everywhere there and the theft is a matter of documented record. It reinforced in me the value of teaching people truth. Then they’re more likely to behave like good citizens instead of thieving bandits. Someone chose.

I learned that it’s called “Zoo” as a short word for Zoolgical park.

What did I like about the Washington DC Zoo? Everything.

Finally I rode the subway. I very much liked it. This escalator was steep and exceedingly long.  I was three quarters of the way up it.  I like DC.

The fish wait their turn to see if they can rob the hooks or get caught. They’re very good hook robbers.
